Graceland Dove is a community-based social enterprise in Kinigi, Musanze District, Rwanda. We rehabilitate, train, and economically empower street children, vulnerable youth, and single mothers through arts, music, sewing, practical English, and income-generating activities—not dependency alone.

Street children, vulnerable youth, and single mothers referred by families, schools, local leaders, or partner NGOs. Each department has coordinators who assess fit and availability.

We are a social enterprise: training spaces are also production and sales spaces. Beneficiaries create, perform, exhibit, and earn. Donations and partnerships help us grow; product and performance income supports sustainability.

Our business plan horizon runs 2026–2036 with goals for financial sustainability by year three, reintegration of street children, sustainable income for women and youth, and strong tourism and local market partnerships.

Four core departments: Arts & Creative Production, Music & Talent Development, Sewing & Fabrication, and Communication & English Skills. Each combines training with real products, performances, or services for sale.

Participants train in a studio and gallery setting—creating paintings, crafts, and décor, exhibiting work on site, and selling to tourists, hotels, and local buyers while building confidence with customers.

Vocal and instrumental training, group rehearsals, and paid performances for tourists, hotels, ceremonies, and cultural events—using music for healing, teamwork, and income.

Daily hands-on tailoring: clothes, bags, school uniforms, and décor. Products are finished, tagged, displayed, and sold at the Center and through lodge and community partners.

Practical English through presentations, role-plays, customer-service practice, and public speaking—integrated into daily work with visitors and partners in Rwanda's tourism economy.

Duration depends on the department and the learner's goals—from intensive workshops to ongoing participation. Coordinators will explain timelines when you enquire or refer someone.

Yes, where possible. Arts, music, and sewing produce items or performances for sale; English learners practice with real visitors. Income builds skills, dignity, and pathways to self-employment.

Yes—visitors are welcome to tour the studio, gallery, and workshop spaces, meet beneficiaries, hear stories, and purchase authentic local products. Please contact us ahead for groups or special visits.

Yes. Artworks, sewn goods, music-related offerings, and other items made at the Center are displayed and sold on site. You support livelihoods directly when you buy.

On-site purchase is primary. For larger or custom orders (art, sewing, bulk), email us with details—we will advise what we can arrange from Musanze.

We are in the Kinigi area near Musanze. Many lodges can arrange transport; you can also message us for pin/directions. Allow extra time during rainy season.
